A crash on I-5 in King County Saturday caused traffic disruptions in the Fife area

A four-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in Federal Way backed up traffic in Fife Saturday afternoon.

The current backup stretch is approximately three miles long on northbound I-5, south of State Route 18 near South 356th Street. The two right lanes are blocked The Washington State Department of Transportation reported at 1:36 p.m

Emergency medical services, the fire department and the Washington State Patrol are on scene.

No injuries were reported and tow trucks were on their way to the crash site, WSP Trooper Rick Johnson said.
