UJJAIN (MP), Sep 27: Two people, including a woman, were killed when part of the boundary wall of a building opposite the famous Mahakal temple collapsed on Friday evening due to heavy rains, an official said. Four people were trapped under the rubble after part of the boundary wall of the Maharajwada School building collapsed, Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh said. A rescue operation was immediately initiated and they were taken to the district hospital, but two of them died, he added. The two survivors were sent to Indore for further treatment, he added. The relatives of the deceased will receive financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each and the injured will receive Rs 50,000 for treatment, he added. The deceased were identified as Farheen (22) and Ajay Yogi (27), district director of medical and health AK Patel said. (PTI)
