A top-shelf star lands in an Australian city

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld has arrived in Adelaide after controversial stand-up performances in Sydney.

The 70-year-old stand-up legend was all smiles as he stepped off his private jet, wearing a navy blue beanie, jeans and a black and white herringbone jacket.

He was seen greeting fans and signing autographs.

Adelaide is the third stop on Seinfeld’s Australian tour after three shows in Sydney and Brisbane, two of which were interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters.

Hecklers became angry at his performance because of the comedian’s support for Israel.

Footage from the comedian’s performance on Tuesday showed two men disrupting the show, standing up and shouting at Seinfeld, while the audience booed their actions.

In the recording, one of the men can be heard shouting “shame on you” and then calling Seinfeld a “burglar” and a “fraud.”

The two men then raised the Palestinian flag, after which one of them began shouting “free Palestine.”

The comedian snapped at protesters before they were removed by security.

“You have strong political feelings, but you don’t know where to express them,” he said.

“You think ruining the evening… it doesn’t concern me… all these people, you’re ruining their evening.”

After Thursday’s performance in Adelaide, the star will fly to Melbourne, where she will play three concerts at the Rod Laver Arena.

Security protocols have been tightened ahead of his appearances in Melbourne after the office of federal MP Josh Burns was destroyed.

Vandals threw stones at the building’s glass facade, lit two bonfires and wrote the phrase “Zionism is fascism” on his electoral office in the early morning hours, expressing condemnation from all sides of politics.

Police are also investigating the incident.
